Springbank Hill Community Lands Fundraiser Rural Rocky View County

277 Strathcona Drive SW , Calgary, T3H 2A4

Start: May 11 2018 07:00 AM
End: May 12 2018 12:00 PM

The Springbank Hill Community Association has been working for the last 8 years to raise funds to complete our Community Lands Project behind Valleyview Church on 26th Ave SW. We are thrilled to annouce that we will break ground on the $800,000 project this year! The space will be an amazing gathering point for our community. Despite our endless efforts, we still need to raise additional funds to complete the project. We've decided to host an amazing adult event at the SCA Community Centre to raise awareness about our project and raise some additional funds to keep the project moving forward. Please join us on May 11th, 2018, from 7pm for tapas style dinner and wine from local Springbank Hill businesses and amazing music from One Nite Band to dance the night away with your friends and neighbours! Spread the word! This will be a fantastic event raising money towards a wonderful project in our community! The Springbank Hill Community Association is governed by an elected volunteer Board of Directors, who oversee the direction of and run the organization, which includes everything from responding to traffic concerns, planning community events, responding to development requests and concerns, managing community ice rinks and adding to community recreational amenities.
